The first seed of Global Green Europe germinated in 2015 when its founding partner, Luis Parodi, from Cádiz and based in China, began working on Spanish exports of metal scrap. A few months later he discovered in plastic recycling a greater diversity of products and a high demand for the incorporation of recycling in Chinese factories. Taking advantage of his time in China, he started working as an agent for several Spanish companies, specialising in this sector. In 2018 he founded his own company.
Although Global Green Europe took its first steps in China, it soon landed back in Spain, starting up in Cordoba with a fledgling team. Today, it maintains offices there and has expanded its network of operations to the south of Madrid, initiating a process of industrialisation and expanding the commercial network to cover more markets and more diversity of plastics to meet international production demands.
Global Green Europe continues to have a strong international character. Maintaining the rhythm of business with Asia, it has recurrently expanded its markets in France, Italy, India, Morocco, Turkey, Germany and Portugal, among others. With an international and multilingual team, they provide international coverage for the demand and exchange of plastics. This company buys the plastic leftovers already treated in the first stage of recycling to supply companies that transform them into new products, thus giving them a second useful life and generating a circular economy, avoiding more production of virgin plastic and more incineration in landfills in exchange for a price that has an impact on the entire recycling value chain.
Global Green Europe's objective is to maintain long-standing clients in the complicated raw materials sector; to satisfy international demand by acting as a bridge between recycler and manufacturer; and, of course, to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere thanks to the resurrection of plastics that go from waste to raw material. All this business spiral lies in creating jobs in Spain, generating wealth, creating the Spain brand and gathering new ideas to apply in our country to achieve greater strength and seriousness in waste management.
In France, for example, they transform the offcuts from the production of yoghurt cartons into the components of an air conditioner made in China. In India, they are helping to supply recycled raw materials that will be used in the sewage network. From Italy they bring plastic that is used for the soles of shoes manufactured in Alicante. From Morocco, they are sending to Asia recovered electrical components from the automotive industry that will be used in other electronic components in Chinese manufacturing. From Portugal, high-value plastics specialised in the aerospace industry are sent to Asia.
